Stardust Resort and Casino - documented casino skimming

The Stardust Resort and Casino was the subject of FBI and Nevada Gaming Control Board investigations that documented long-running skimming operations by organized crime figures, particularly tied to the Chicago Outfit, during the 1970s and 1980s. These investigations led to indictments and convictions of individuals involved in diverting casino profits before they were recorded. The Stardust closed in 2006 and was demolished in 2007.
