Læderstræde 36 is a historic Neoclassical building located at the intersection of Læderstræde and Hyskenstræde in Copenhagen's Old Town. Originally a distillery from 1722 until the early 19th century, this four-story structure showcases architectural features designed for fire safety, including a chamfered corner for easier access by fire services. Its facade is adorned with decorative friezes and a prominent entrance, making it a notable example of post-fire reconstruction in the city. The building, along with its neighbor Hyskenstræde 9, was listed as a protected site in 1964, reflecting its cultural and historical significance.
