Beverly is a historic Georgian-style home located in Pocomoke City, Maryland, built around 1770. This 2+1⁄2-story brick house features Flemish bond construction and overlooks the scenic Pocomoke River. Notably, the property includes an original circular ice house. Beverly was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The house has a rich family history, having been completed by Susanna Upshur Dennis and her children after the death of Littleton Dennis, a descendant of John Dennis from Beverly, England, with the family residing there for nearly 150 years.
