Christian Ehresman Farm

The Christian Ehresman Farm is a historic house located near Trenton, Ohio, recognized for its significance as a representation of 19th-century Amish Mennonite architecture. Built in 1867 by Christian Ehresman, who emigrated from Europe in 1840, the farm showcases the early settlement patterns of Mennonite communities in the region. Although Ehresman passed away shortly after construction began, the farm remained within his family until 1924, offering a glimpse into the agricultural and cultural heritage of Ohio's Mennonite population. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 3, 1984, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
