Dronninggård

Dronninggård, also known as Næsseslottet, is an 18th-century country house located on the picturesque shores of Lake Furesøen in Holte, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally built in 1661 for Queen Sophie Amalie, the estate has a rich history, including its transformation by Frédéric de Coninck in the late 18th century into a neoclassical masterpiece designed by architect Andreas Kirkerup. The surrounding park, designed by landscape architect Jean Frédéric Henry de Drevon, features Denmark's first Romantic garden with exotic trees and various monuments. Today, Dronninggård serves as an office hotel, offering visitors a glimpse into its storied past amidst beautiful natural scenery.
