TDECU Stadium opened on the site of Robertson Stadium in 2014

TDECU Stadium opened in August 2014 as the University of Houston's on-campus football stadium, replacing the demolished Robertson Stadium on the same site. The new facility became the home of the Houston Cougars football program and features modernized seating, amenities, and press facilities compared with the previous stadium. The venue marked a return of UH football to an updated on-campus stadium after Robertson's demolition.
