Fleetwood Farm

Fleetwood Farm, also known as Peggy's Green, is a historic Federal style house located in Loudoun County, Virginia, believed to have been built around 1775 by William Ellzey, a prominent lawyer and participant in pre-Revolutionary activities. The house is notable for its unusual post-and-beam construction and features a stone foundation, extensive wainscoting, and a main parlor with full-height paneling. The property includes three outbuildings: a smokehouse, springhouse, and barn. Fleetwood Farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
