Museo de Iloko

The Museo de Iloko, located in Agoo, La Union, Philippines, is a significant heritage building and museum showcasing artifacts of cultural importance to the Ilocano people. This museum is one of the few remaining examples of American Colonial Era architecture in the Ilocos Region and serves as one of the two major public museums in La Union. Originally built as the municipal building during the American occupation, it was converted into a museum in 1981. The museum houses a variety of artifacts, including religious items linked to notable archbishops, personal belongings of former president Elpidio Quirino, and Ming Dynasty artifacts. Despite suffering damage from the 1990 Luzon earthquake, the museum was restored and continues to attract visitors, although part of its first floor has been converted into a Chowking fast food franchise.
