Blue Mustang sculpture at Denver International Airport

The large blue horse sculpture titled 'Blue Mustang' was created by artist Luis Jiménez and installed on the grounds of Denver International Airport in 2008. The 32-foot-tall, steel-and-fiberglass work is a prominent, often-discussed public artwork associated with the airport. The sculpture attracted attention in part because the artist died in 2006 from injuries sustained when a section of the work fell during fabrication.
