The Sixth Floor Museum vantage at the Texas School Book Depository

The Sixth Floor Museum occupies the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository and preserves the southeast sixth-floor window identified by the Warren Commission as the vantage point of the shooter; that conclusion remains subject to historical debate. The museum provides views down Elm Street and across Dealey Plaza from the same elevation. Exhibits focus on the life, assassination, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy and include photographic and film documentation of the plaza from the sixth-floor perspective.
