Sachsen Arena

The Sachsen Arena, located in Riesa, Germany, is a modern sports venue that opened in 2004 and can accommodate up to 5,500 spectators. Originally named Erdgas Arena until 2012, it is primarily known for hosting ice hockey games. Additionally, the arena is a prominent site for the World Dance Championships, recognized as the 'Olympics of dance,' where competitors from around 50 countries showcase their talents. Since 2015, it has also hosted the International Darts Open, part of the PDC European Tour, making it a vibrant hub for both sports and cultural events.
