Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) and Frontera

The Texas Advanced Computing Center at The University of Texas at Austin operates large-scale high performance computing resources used for scientific and computational research. TACC hosted the Frontera supercomputer, which when deployed in 2019 was the fastest academic supercomputer in the world and has been used for research including large-scale cybersecurity simulations and data analysis. TACC provides computing resources and support to researchers across cybersecurity, networking, and computer science disciplines. The center is part of UT Austin's research infrastructure and collaborates with federal and academic partners.
