Fort Worth Herd cattle drive (Stockyards National Historic District)

The Fort Worth Herd performs a twice-daily cattle drive through the Fort Worth Stockyards as a living reenactment of the late 19th–century cattle drives that shaped the city's history. The cattle drive is a scheduled ceremonial event that moves along Exchange Avenue within the National Historic District. It functions as a public ritualized remembrance of Fort Worth's cattle industry heritage.
