Christ Church (Old City) and Christ Church Burial Ground

Christ Church is a historic Episcopal parish in Old City where many colonial leaders worshipped and where the adjacent Christ Church Burial Ground contains the grave of Benjamin Franklin. The church building and burial ground date to the 18th century and are interpreted for their role in colonial and Revolutionary-era Philadelphia. The burial ground also contains graves of other signers and prominent Philadelphians from the 18th and early 19th centuries.
