Seattle Central Library architecture photos

The Seattle Central Library, designed by Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Ramus of OMA/LMN and opened in 2004, features a distinctive glass-and-steel exterior and multi-level interior atrium that have been widely photographed and circulated online. Its unconventional geometry and visible stacks make the building a frequent subject of architectural photography and viral image-sharing. The library is the central branch of The Seattle Public Library system and is open to the public.
