Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse

The Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse at 231 W Lafayette Blvd is the primary federal courthouse in Detroit and houses sessions of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The courthouse includes secured areas such as courtrooms, judges' chambers, and holding facilities, and all visitors are required to pass through federal courthouse security screening. The building is named for federal judge Theodore Levin.
