Wind‑sculpted Monterey cypress at Lands End

The coastal bluffs at Lands End near the Sutro Baths ruins are known for wind‑pruned Monterey cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa) that exhibit dramatic, flattened shapes from constant exposure to Pacific storms.
