Sellers Mansion

Sellers Mansion was a historic Victorian-era home in Baltimore, Maryland, notable for its Italianate/Second Empire architecture and as the birthplace of aviation pioneer Matthew Bacon Sellers Jr. Built in 1868, it served as a prominent residence and later a community center before falling into disrepair. The mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, but despite restoration efforts, it was ultimately demolished in 2023 following a fire. The mansion's history reflects the changing dynamics of the Harlem Park neighborhood and the legacy of its original owners, who lived in seclusion surrounded by valuable antiques and hidden treasures.
