Paramount Theatre (downtown performing arts landmark)

The Paramount Theatre opened in 1928 as a lavish vaudeville and movie palace and has operated as a major performing arts venue in downtown Seattle since that time. It is operated by the Seattle Theatre Group and regularly presents touring Broadway productions, concerts, and other events. Its historic marquee and ornate interior have made it a longstanding visual and cultural landmark in the central business district.
