Holland House (Atlanta)

Holland House, once the oldest standing house in Atlanta, dates back to the early 1840s and was originally located at the intersection of Whitehall and Alabama streets. It was owned by Edward W. Holland, a hotelier and candy manufacturer, and served various purposes over the years, including as an office for railroad engineers and later as Atlanta's first boarding house. The house was eventually relocated to Peters Street, near Trinity Church, but the site is now a parking lot. This historical building offers a glimpse into Atlanta's architectural and social history, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
