Afable Building

The Afable Building is a historic 3-storey structure located in Manila, notable for its unique architectural blend of original Art Deco design from 1932 and post-war renovations from 1960, both crafted by renowned Filipino architect Pablo Antonio Sr. Originally established as the Afable College of Medicine and Surgery, the building honors Dr. Valentin Afable, a significant figure in Philippine medicine. Visitors can admire its intricate façade featuring a striking bass-relief sculpture and art deco elements. Although currently serving as a mixed-use retail space and dormitory, the building retains much of its original exterior charm, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in Philippine architectural history.
