Kingsley Plantation (Fort George Island)

Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island contains the oldest standing plantation house in Florida, with the main house dating to the late 18th century. It was the home of planter Zephaniah Kingsley, who operated the plantation using enslaved labor. The site includes surviving tabby slave quarters, a barn, and archaeological remains and is managed by the National Park Service as part of Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve.
