Robert C. Woods House

The Robert C. Woods House, also known as the Jacob S. Rhodes House, is a historic brick dwelling located in Wheeling, West Virginia. Built between 1839 and 1845, this 2+1⁄2-story home features an Italianate-style facade and boasts 13 rooms. Notable for its curved cast-iron lintels, the house measures 32 by 90 feet and has a rich history as the residence of prominent local business leaders. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and currently serves as a clubhouse for the West Virginia Snakes Club, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
