Pizzeria Bianco - Chris Bianco's award-winning pizzeria

Chris Bianco opened Pizzeria Bianco's brick-and-mortar restaurant in downtown Phoenix in 1996. Bianco won the 2003 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: Southwest, bringing national attention to the restaurant. Pizzeria Bianco is widely credited with helping popularize artisanal, wood-fired pizza and a farm-to-table ethos in the Phoenix dining scene.
