Olympic Sculpture Park (Seattle Art Museum)

Opened in 2007 and designed by the landscape and architecture firm Weiss/Manfredi in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum, the Olympic Sculpture Park transformed a former industrial northwest waterfront site into an urban park and outdoor museum. The project is noted for its engineered landform, integrated pedestrian circulation, and reuse of a former rail and industrial shoreline as public open space. The park's design is frequently cited in studies of contemporary public-park and waterfront-reclamation architecture.
