Knabrostræde 30, also known as The Fresh Fish-Trading Company's House, is an 18th-century building located on the picturesque canalfront in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally a fish warehouse, it has been transformed into office space and houses the popular Restaurant 1733. The building's rich history dates back to the merging of three smaller properties in 1733 by the Fresh Fish Trading Company, which continued the legacy of the city's Fishmongers' Guild. Notable residents have included silversmith Kay Bojesen and various artists. Architecturally, the building features a striking red brick facade with decorative elements, including a lavish sandstone portal added in 1915. Today, it stands as a protected historical site, offering visitors a glimpse into Copenhagen's maritime past while serving modern culinary delights.
