SFJAZZ Center opening and mission

The SFJAZZ Center opened in 2013 at 201 Franklin Street as a dedicated facility for jazz performance and education in San Francisco. It hosts SFJAZZ concert series, touring national and international jazz artists, and year-round education and community programs. The building contains a large performance hall and smaller club-style spaces used for concerts and instructional activities.
