Plaza de César Chávez - site of Christmas in the Park

Plaza de César Chávez is San José’s central public park and hosts longstanding civic rituals and community gatherings. It is the traditional site of the annual Christmas in the Park display, a multi-decade holiday exhibition and public ritual that transforms the plaza each winter. The plaza is also regularly used for public vigils, memorial services, and civic festivals attended by large portions of the community.
