LAX Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility

The LAX Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility, set to open fully in April 2025, is a groundbreaking $1 billion project designed to streamline rental car operations for Los Angeles International Airport. With the capacity to house up to 21,000 vehicles, it will be the largest rental car facility in the world. The facility is part of a larger $5.5 billion modernization program and features sustainable design elements aimed at achieving a LEED Gold rating. Visitors will benefit from a dedicated five-story building for vehicle pick-up and return, along with a quick turnaround area for efficient vehicle maintenance. The facility will host major rental car companies and is connected to the LAX Automated People Mover, providing easy access to the airport terminals. The first operations began in October 2024, with the facility expected to enhance the overall travel experience at LAX.
