Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall houses one of the world's largest collections of historic aircraft and spacecraft, including the 1903 Wright Flyer and the Apollo 11 command module. The museum's exhibits interpret the history and technology of aviation and spaceflight and support public education and research programs. It is among the most-visited museums in the United States and is part of the Smithsonian Institution's museum complex.
