Pied Piper's House

The Pied Piper's House, or Rattenfängerhaus, is a historic half-timbered building in Hamelin, Germany, famously linked to the legend of the Pied Piper. An inscription on its façade recounts the mysterious disappearance of 130 children from Hamelin on June 26, 1284, led by a piper in colorful attire. While the stone façade dates back to 1602, the building itself is much older and showcases Renaissance architectural elements. Today, it serves as a city-owned restaurant and features various artworks, with plans for public display at the Hamelin Museum upon reopening in summer.
