Fox Theatre

The Fox Theatre opened in Detroit in 1928 as part of William Fox’s chain of movie palaces and is one of the largest surviving theaters of its type. The 5,000-seat venue hosts concerts, Broadway shows, and special events and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its ornate interior and auditorium have been central to Detroit's performing-arts scene for decades.
