Sherman Arcade

The Sherman Arcade, located at 228 Harrison Avenue in Panama City, Florida, is a historic building constructed in 1934 featuring a blend of masonry vernacular and Mission Revival architectural styles. Built by local businessman W. C. Sherman using salvaged wood and bricks, the arcade was restored to its original design in 2003. Today, it serves as a vibrant hub with retail businesses on the ground floor and residential apartments above. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
