Jacob Berni House

The Jacob Berni House, built in 1885 in Alma, Wisconsin, was a historic site that showcased the life of Jacob Berni, a prominent figure in the local logging and farming industries. Notably, Berni served as a foreman, cheese factory president, and school board treasurer. The house was recognized for its historical significance, being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and the State Register in 1989. Unfortunately, the original structure was destroyed by fire, and a modern ranch-style house now occupies the site.
