Klostergården, Copenhagen

Klostergården, also known as Det Petersenske Jomfrukloster, is a historic Neoclassical building located at Amagertorv 29 in Copenhagen's Old Town. Originally founded in 1758 as a Lutheran house for unmarried noblewomen, it has a rich history marked by its destruction in the 1795 Copenhagen Fire and subsequent rebuilding. The architecture features a striking façade with a central projection and a passageway, Klostergangen, leading to Læderstræde. Today, Klostergården houses a popular & Other Stories store and Café Zirup, making it a vibrant spot for both tourists and locals.
