Paris Male Academy

The Paris Male Academy, also known as the Nimrod Ashcraft House, is a historic Greek Revival school building in Paris, Missouri, constructed in 1854. This two-story brick structure features a distinctive front gable roof and four brick pilasters. It served as an educational institution until 1869 before becoming a private residence. Recognized for its architectural significance and contribution to local education, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in Missouri's educational history and architectural heritage.
