Indianapolis City Market

The Indianapolis City Market building was completed in 1886 and has housed an indoor public market since that time; the city operated markets on the site in earlier decades. The market is located on East Market Street in downtown Indianapolis and contains a variety of local food vendors, specialty shops, and eateries. The building and market remain a long-standing commercial and community hub for the surrounding neighborhoods.
