Make Way for Ducklings statues in the Public Garden

Nancy Schön's bronze sculpture of Mrs. Mallard and her ducklings was installed in the Boston Public Garden in 1987 as a tribute to Robert McCloskey's 1941 children's book. The work is a long-standing local landmark and popular photo spot for residents and visitors. The statue has been repaired after occasional vandalism and is often decorated by locals for holidays and events.
