Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

The Basilica is the largest Roman Catholic church in North America, with construction begun in 1920 and major sections completed across the 20th century. The complex contains dozens of chapels and artworks representing diverse ethnic Catholic communities and regularly hosts liturgies, concerts, and cultural festivals.
