Sunset Station (Southern Pacific Railroad Depot)

Sunset Station is a restored early-20th-century Southern Pacific Railroad depot that opened in 1902 and served as a major rail terminal for San Antonio. The Spanish Mission–influenced masonry depot building and adjacent rail facilities were rehabilitated and repurposed as an event venue and cultural site in the late 20th century. The restoration preserved characteristic railroad-architecture features such as the red-tile roof, arched openings, and the station's passenger concourse.
