Sita Bhawan

Sita Bhawan is a historic Rana palace located in Kathmandu, Nepal, built in 1929 by Bhim Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana for his wife, Her Highness Sri Teen Sita Bada Maharani Deela Kumari Devi. The palace features an impressive complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. After its nationalization in 1969, it became home to the Nepal Children Organization and the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts. However, a significant portion of the palace was damaged in the 2015 earthquake, leaving its future uncertain.
