McNeer House

McNeer House is a historic home located near Salt Sulphur Springs in Monroe County, West Virginia, built in 1919 in the Colonial Revival style. This impressive 2+1⁄2-story white frame dwelling features a striking two-story flat-roofed portico supported by Doric columns and a unique U-shaped rear wing. Once the largest residential building in the county, it briefly served as the 'Lotus Club,' potentially the only nightclub in Monroe County after World War II. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
