Denver Art Museum galleries and collections

The Denver Art Museum houses a collection of more than 70,000 works spanning global cultures and 5,000 years of art history. Its Frederic C. Hamilton Building, designed by Daniel Libeskind, opened in 2006 and contains contemporary and special exhibition galleries. The museum is especially noted for one of the largest collections of American Indian art in the country and extensive Western American art holdings.
