The Cruise Room (Oxford Hotel) – Post‑Prohibition Art Deco bar

The Cruise Room is an Art Deco bar inside the Oxford Hotel that opened immediately after the repeal of Prohibition in December 1933. The space was designed to resemble a ship's lounge and retains period fixtures and décor associated with 1930s cocktail bars. It is documented in Denver food-and-drink histories as one of the city's earliest bars to reopen for legal beverage service after national Prohibition.
