Buckhorn Saloon & Museum

The Buckhorn Saloon & Museum began as a downtown saloon in 1881 and grew a large taxidermy and Texas memorabilia collection that was later displayed as a museum. Its exhibits include mounted wildlife, cowboy artifacts, and a Texas Ranger Museum component; the Buckhorn has operated near Main Plaza for over a century. The site is part of downtown San Antonio's historic tourism and cultural attractions.
