Boston Opera House - historic theatrical and musical venue

The Boston Opera House at 539 Washington St originally opened in 1928 as the B.F. Keith Memorial Theatre and operated as a major movie palace and vaudeville house. After a period of decline and closure in the late 20th century, it was restored and reopened in 2004 as the Boston Opera House. It now hosts touring Broadway musicals, concert productions, and large-scale musical events that are significant to Boston's performance history.
