Whaley House Museum

The Whaley House in Old Town was built in 1857 by Thomas Whaley and later served as a general store, commercial theater, and county courthouse. The wood-frame Greek Revival/Italianate residence is now operated as a house museum interpreting mid-19th-century San Diego history. The site is commonly included in historic walking tours of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
