The Capitol Steps political satire troupe

The Capitol Steps is a political satire and musical comedy troupe founded in Washington, D.C. in 1981 by congressional staffers. The group became known for parodying politicians and current events and frequently performed in Washington venues for decades. They have appeared at DAR Constitution Hall as part of their regular DC-area performances and national tours.
