Tuvardzhiyev House

The Tuvardzhiyev House, a historical building in Rostov-on-Don, was constructed in the late 19th century and served as a notable example of merchant architecture from that era. Located at 41 Shaumyana Street, it was famous for housing the city's first billiard room. The house underwent significant renovations in the early 20th century, increasing its prominence and value. Despite efforts to preserve it, the house was demolished in 2016, making way for a new hotel. This site reflects the rich cultural heritage of Rostov-on-Don and its historical significance in the local community.
