Tipperah Palace

Tipperah Palace, also known as Comilla Rajbari, is a historical palace located in Comilla, Bangladesh, built in the 19th century by Nabadwipchandra Dev Burman, a member of the Manikya dynasty. Once a royal residence, the palace has served various purposes, including a military warehouse and a poultry farm, before being earmarked for conversion into a museum. The site is rich in cultural heritage, being the birthplace of renowned Tripuri singer Sachin Dev Burman and a place where the national poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam, practiced music. The palace is currently undergoing renovations to preserve its historical significance and is set to become a cultural complex, attracting tourists and researchers interested in the region's royal history and artistic legacy.
